Spacious room with clean facilities. The shuttle to downtown only runs from 4 pm to 10 pm. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

The cleanliness was on another level; I'm still trying to figure out how they did it! The staff is super friendly and the unique half-outdoor pool design really caught my eye.
The hot tub was out of commission, which was a bit of a letdown.

Exceptional cleanliness stood out immediately; not a single cigarette butt in sight. The shower products were top-notch, eliminating the need for my own. Comfy beds and remarkable pillows made night’s sleep a joy. I appreciated the accessible washer and dryer—just remember your quarters. The indoor jacuzzi was a welcome treat after a long day. Staff? Welcoming and thoughtful, offering excellent recommendations. Breakfast met expectations with decent variety. The balcony became my reading nook, a lovely touch. location was misleading. Don’t expect a leisurely walk to downtown. My arrival had hiccups due to a payment issue, but staff handled it well. Would I return? Absolutely. But consider clearer communication.

The carpets had this awful smell—it was like leftover gym socks. The place looked clean enough, but honestly, if we’d stayed longer, I would’ve asked for a different room. Just gross!

My recent stay was wonderful, as the hotel is conveniently situated just a mile from downtown Asheville, allowing easy access to vibrant attractions like the Grove Arcade and the Thomas Wolfe Memorial, all within walking distance, while also being close to great dining options like Outback Steakhouse and Starbucks, plus the stunning views of the nearby mountains from our spacious room. The hotel experience was mostly delightful, although breakfast could use better management to ensure coffee availability.

The room was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed. Temperature control was effective, but the noise levels varied; our initial room had a disturbing sound from the air-conditioning unit on the roof. After a quick request, we were moved without hassle. The bathroom was well-stocked with Dove products, which I appreciated. the smoke alarm's blinking light became distracting at night. Hallways were chilly, and low ceilings posed a problem for taller guests. Despite some noise issues and a lack of smart TV, the room provided a pleasant stay overall.

Clean and well-maintained, with updated rooms and plenty of power sources, the hotel felt accommodating at first. The 24-hour convenience area was a lifesaver for late-night snacks, despite the slightly high prices. Breakfast was a highlight, delicious and thoughtfully spaced for safety. the carpet in our first room was wet and carried a strong humidity smell, which only faded after turning on the AC. Lady bugs appeared, but the staff acted quickly. Still, the thin walls and overall pricing left something to be desired. It had potential, just a few quirks to iron out.

the room was well-equipped with modern amenities like a flat-screen TV and complimentary toiletries. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the housekeeping staff did a fantastic job of maintaining the room. there were some drawbacks. The water pressure in the shower was lacking, and it was challenging to get the water to a comfortable temperature. the noise from the central air conditioning system was bothersome, especially in the room we were initially assigned on the top floor. Thanks to the excellent receptionist, we were promptly relocated to a more peaceful room. Another downside was the limited breakfast options. While the food was decent, there was a lack of variety, especially for those with dietary restrictions. It would have been nice to see options like turkey or veggie sausages and pancakes or waffles to cater to different preferences. our experience at the Holiday Inn was a mix of comfort and inconvenience.

My friends and I had a blast exploring the galleries at Grove Arcade and enjoying the free meals for kids under 11. The hotel's free stays for those under 18 saved us some serious cash, making our trip even more epic!
Wish there was a livelier vibe for young party animals like us to keep the fun going all night long! .

Our family-friendly hotel also delighted us with complimentary stays for kids under 18 and free meals for children under 11. The welcoming staff made our visit even more enjoyable.
My wife says that more family-friendly activities would enhance the experience.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely delightful! The room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable, making it perfect for a group of friends like us. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. The breakfast was delicious, with healthy options available. Beatrice, the breakfast attendant, was exceptionally helpful. We loved the unique pool design and the indoor jacuzzi. our experience was top-notch!
More available staff in the restaurant would have been ideal, and having a shuttle service during the day would have been convenient.

the rooms and beds were clean and comfy, and the breakfast was great. the location was convenient and close to downtown - with a nice mountain view from the balcony. and the staff - especially jonathan - went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

we had a great stay at holiday inn. everything was very clean. staff was very nice and helpful. they provided us with a fan when ours broke. the breakfast had a variety of options including yogurt, cereal, fruits, and muffins. in addition, the location offered a great view of the mountains and was convenient for travel to various areas. the parking deck and elevator were very convenient.
